Robyn Archer is Strategic Advisor, Gold Coast Arts and Culture, Artistic Director of The Light in Winter, Deputy Chair of the Australia Council, member of the Council for Australia and Latin America Relations and Chair of NIDA’s inaugural Master of Fine Arts (Cultural Leadership). An acknowledged exponent of classic European cabaret, Robyn won the Helpmann Award as Australia’s Best Cabaret Performer 2013. Former Artistic Director of the Adelaide and Melbourne Festivals and Ten Days on the Island, Robyn has received many awards including the Dame Elisabeth Murdoch Cultural Leadership Award and the International Society for the Performing Arts International Citation of Merit. She mentors and is patron and ambassador of numerous international organisations. Robyn is Officer of the Order of Australia, Chevalier de l’Ordre des Arts et des Lettres (France), Officer of the Crown (Belgium), holds honorary doctorates from five Australian universities and is an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Academy for the Humanities.
