Engagement Director

Fleur Derbyshire-Fox, currently the Engagement Director at English National Ballet, leads Engagement strategy, building innovative projects and programmes across three key strands: Developing Talent, Creative Learning and Public Engagement; these programs now reach 48,000 people per annum. 

She devised and led a two year project of innovative inter-cultural dialogue programs with China culminating with the leading UK performance at Shanghai Expo 2010 and again in 2012 In 2009, she initiated, gained funding for and developed ENB’s Dance for Parkinson's model, rolling the programme out nationally, through 5 strategic hub partnerships underpinned by 2 phases of research.

She has over 20 years’ experience working in the dance sector as a dance artist, educationalist, dance manager and examiner of dance with AQA and the International Baccalaureate. Fleur studied dance at Arts Educational Schools, afterwards at Middlesex University (MA Choreography), is a Fellow of RSA and is a long-standing Board member at DanceEast.
