FaceAsia Keynotes
For those who could not attend our Singapore Congress, we've posted many of the excellent presentations delivered by our speakers around the East/West issues. Some of the pointed remarks by one of oue keynote speakers, Tommy Koh, set this ball rolling at a lively pace!
Tommy Koh: "Asia and the West: What do we expect of each other?"
J. Ostrom Moller: "Asia and the West: So What"
Ramon Pagayon Santos: "A Concept of Time and Space in Asian Artistic Expression"

Our Singapore Congress was the first ever ISPA (International Society for the Performing Arts) Congress to be held in Asia. FACE ASIA, the theme for this congress, offered new perspectives on the changing faces of Asian Arts today. FACE ASIA engaged with the challenges faced by traditional Asian art forms as they evolve in tandem with modernisation and greater people connectivity. The Congress was timed to coincide with the Singapore Arts Festival (29 May – 22 June 2003) and Asian Arts Mart 2003 (14 –16 June 2003).
