Brave New World: Using the Internet
to connect artists, artist managers, and arts organizations
Friday, 14 December, 2001, 9am - 5pm

[ pre-conference institute registration form ]

Fact: Internet technology is re-defining the through-line from artist to artist manager to arts organization to presenter to audience.

The explosive increase in use of the Internet is re-defining the way in which organizations of all kinds serve their clients and their customers. Today, artist managers and presenters in particular must be ready to make informed strategic decisions about the way in which they integrate electronic and digital communication into their business and customer relationships.

Working with a diverse team of leaders who will bring practical examples from their own international operations in the performing arts field, participants will explore how artists, managers, and presenters are utilizing technology to add value, streamline operations, strengthen existing relationships, and discover new ways to do business.

Note: this is not a vendor-presented seminar.
