Artistic Coordinator
Salaried Position: $35K - $40K
The Madison Project Foundation, the non-profit programming entity for The Eli and Edythe BROAD STAGE & The Edye Second Space at Santa Monica College Performing Arts Center, is seeking an experienced Artistic Coordinator. Under the direct supervision of the Director and the Assistant Director, this person will contribute in the following areas:

All ''advance the show'' activities
- Collection and management of talent files
- Coordination of talent files with Marketing Dept.
- Arrangement of transportation and accommodation for visiting performers
- Preliminary contracting
- Calendar management and coordination with Santa Monica College
- Creating programs and other informational materials
- Website maintenance utilizing specialized software
- Coordinating website upkeep with Marketing Dept.
- Creation of “digital programs”
- Assisting with artist hospitality before, during and after performances
- Pre- and post-event venue preparation (may involve heavy lifting)
- May assist Director and Assistant Director by attending and evaluating performances
- Special projects as needed
- ...and general office duties
Applicants MUST possess:
- Theatrical production experience
- Excellent general office skills (phone, filing, & email)
- Advanced computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite; Photoshop a plus)
- Experience working with artists of all calibers and genres
- Highly skilled and articulate in analyzing and describing performance experiences
- Intelligent, confident demeanor
- Top-notch self-presentation
- Ability to work in an intense, fast-paced production zone (multi-tasking essential)
- Energy, charisma & a passion for the performing arts
- Flexibility an absolute must
- BA preferred
Compensation: $35K - $40K
This is a full-time job
