The KSO seeks an Executive Director to be responsible for the organizational, financial and artistic success of the organization (budget $2.7M). The Executive Director manages the human and financial resources of the KSO and serves as the chief fundraiser for the organization. The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with a proven record of success in achieving goals for artistic growth, earned and contributed income, community engagement, and audience development. S/he will combine a strong working knowledge of music, artists and repertoire with a deep respect for orchestras and for orchestra musicians. The successful candidate will have experience working and negotiating with professional musicians under a collective bargaining agreement.
