Alabama Symphony Orchestra seeks candidates for the position of Director of Artistic Administration to lead the future artistic development of Alabama’s critically acclaimed orchestra (budget $6.5M). S/he serves as a partner to the Music Director and Executive Director in developing artistic plans and designs and implements all musical programs.
The successful candidate will have a thorough knowledge of symphonic music and a strong working knowledge of contemporary, pop, jazz, world, and chamber music. S/he will have experience working with a collective bargaining agreement.
