Duties and Responsibilities:

The Audience Development Manager assists the marketing and communications department in reaching in reaching its annual earned revenue goals by guiding the development of innovative strategies for creating new audiences for WPAS, creating and managing an ambitious customer service-focused group sales program that includes strong audience retention; create all collateral materials that support the effort, such as fliers, brochures, letters, emails and more; create promotional opportunities that result in new audience participation ; manage distribution of collateral materials throughout the region including partner box offices, email communiqués and all other non-traditional marketing. Education & Experience


  • College grad with a degree in related field
  • Minimum 4 years marketing experience, knowledge of the arts a plus
  • Experience in customer relations, event planning, budgeting and database systems preferred.
  • Must be detail-oriented, with ability to multitask and possess excellent communication skills.
  • Computer skills to include knowledge of Microsoft Office suite and Tessitura.
