Duties and Responsibilities This position has the authority and responsibility for marketing and public relations. The Director is accountable for achieving all earned revenue goals, serves as the keeper of the WPAS brand, assists with strategic planning and institutional vision and provides leadership to the department.
- Serves as member of the Senior Staff, executing a high level of fiscal control, leadership, judgment, vision and communications skills; collaborates with senior and executive staff concerning issues of operating policy and developments
- Serves as principal liaison with the marketing Committee of the Board of Directors to inspire board participation and engagement
- Coordinates with Director of Development where marketing is called for in fundraising activities
- Consults with Education in the marketing of those programs to the public
- Direct an monitor the budget for the marketing Department
- Supervise a staff of seven , recruiting and hiring related vacancies

- College graduate having a degree in related field, MBA or other advanced degree preferred
- Ten+ years experience in arts marketing
- Strong managerial experience and analytical capabilities required
- Must be polished, detail-oriented, have the ability to multi-task and possess excellent communication skills
- Computer skills to include Microsoft Office suite
- Background, understanding and appreciation for the work performed by WPAS.
