Director, Corporate Relations - Orange County Performing Artscenter

Primary responsibility for corporate fundraising for the Orange County Performing Artscenter programming, including the solicitation of corporate grants, corporate memberships and sponsorships. Manage a staff of two in donor fulfillment and related activities in accordance with gift agreements, expectations of donors, policies and practices with regard to contributions. The current year expectations of this position are to raise or facilitate more than $1.5 million in annual support for The Center and its programs.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, graduate degree in a related field preferred. Five to seven years in professional development positions, at least four of which are in corporate development. Experience managing a fundraising staff. Superior oral and written communication skills are imperative. Knowledge of the arts is strongly preferred. Computer literacy is required.

This position manages a complex and growing set of fundraising campaigns on behalf of the Orange County Performing Artscenter and requires a very high level of interpersonal, organizational, written and oral communications skill. The Director must possess the ability to relate well in a professional and easy manner to donors of all levels, Board members and to corporate executives of all sized corporations and their staffs.
