Soldier Songs is an evening-length contemporary music-theatre work from composer David T. Little and director Yuval Sharon that allows a glimpse into the soul of the soldier. Soldier Songs combines elements of theater, opera, rock-infused concert music, and animation to explore the perceptions versus the realities of a soldier, the loss and exploitation of innocence, and the difficulty of expressing the truth of war. It is a rare and personal experience.
