Silent city is a year-round theatre project in which we'll be discovering the everyday life of young individuals in European cities. Our artistic team consists of more than 20 people – poets, actors, dancers, visual artists and musicians. There is one condition to enter the creative group: to be a professional artist up to 30 years of age. We'll invite talented Slovenian poets to be storytellers of the life of young people in the city of Ljubljana. Besides Slovenians we'll invite their fellow poets from other European capitals to write about their experiences on different subjects.
We'll stage four performances in five different languages – Slovenian, English, Spanish, French and German: in March 2014 we'll present the first performance from the dialogue between Ljubljana and Paris, in May between Ljubljana and London, in October follows Ljubljana and Berlin and in December 2014 Ljubljana and Barcelona.
