Augmented Pinocchio is a performance of a new genre we call "Augmented Comedy". Michele Cremaschi’s unique version of Pinocchio, a story known by everyone, includes ironic body language, visual comedy and digital performance. Cremaschi has developed an unprecedented theatre technique by bringing holograms on stage enabling the actor to bring all the characters to the scenes at once. This modern technique permits body movements to be plotted in real time making it possible for the virtual body to act and react with the actor in flesh and blood. It enables a real interactivity, granting freshness to the stage and set that ushers the spectator into a magic illusory dimension.
