A Play in One Word. Science Fiction and Fantasy. A mystical secret that falls into the hands of a man during World War II saves him from certain death in an extermination camp. He passes the secret on to his children, who draw on it as they attempt to change their lives. But it creates complications for them in the struggle between light and darkness. Using a minimalistic setting, quick changes of character, and a technique of time transitions, the actors create a language that is almost cinematic on the stage. The story is told without words, putting the focus on the physical, and the genres of science fiction and fantasy. It switches back and forth in time and between parallel realities, revealing a family’s dark secret, up to the climax when good and evil, fantasy and reality meet the same plane, resolving the story and changing the characters’ past and future.
