A series of short (5-minute), contemporary dance love duets designed for a wide range of public spaces such as museums, galleries, festivals and events. POP-UP Duets emerge from public situations, to be received by both invited and ‘accidental’ audiences. Everyday gestures and actions are amplified into nuanced and dynamic partner choreography as two dancers emerge from the shared public space accompanied by a track of original contemporary music. These award-winning duets are extremely versatile and can be presented indoors and outdoors. 4 dancers perform the full suite of 9 duets and each duet, and music track, can also exist as an individual work for bespoke events.
