Untitled Kronos Project, a live documentary about the Kronos Quartet’s past, present, and future conceptualized by Academy Award—nominated filmmaker Sam Green (The Weather Underground, The Measure of All Things), will tell the story of Kronos’ 40-plus year history through live narration, archival footage, vignettes, interviews, sound bites, and live music performed by Kronos. At its heart, the work will be a meditation on music itself — the act of listening closely to music, feeling it deeply, and its power to change the world. Untitled will tour extensively in 2018-19 (Kronos’ 45th anniversary season). Production scalability will enable Untitled to be presented at a wide range of venues.
