FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: November 15, 2009 The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) Chief Executive Officer, David Baile, is delighted to announce a new ISPA partner. Beginning in January 2010 for a three year period, ISPA’s member directory will be sponsored by Willis Group Holdings, Ltd.. This multi-year sponsorship with the internationally renowned insurance brokerage reflects a shared commitment to global services.
Willis is one of the world's largest professional services firms specializing in corporate risk management and human capital solutions. With 400 offices in more than 100 countries, Willis offers a physical presence in cities that are home to more than two-thirds of ISPA members. As an exclusive new member benefit, Willis will, upon request, offer members a no-cost, no-obligation corporate risk and insurance assessment and recommend practical strategies to avoid and reduce risk. In addition, at the 2010 Congress in New York, Willis will present an elective session on organizational risk management. Commenting on the new relationship, Willis Senior Vice President Scott Konrad said, “We’re delighted to partner with ISPA and to help its members take charge of corporate risk in a dynamic, challenging marketplace. It’s a logical progression of the work we’re already doing with leading performing arts facilities and organizations, and ISPA’s goals and global initiatives align remarkably well with Willis’ strategic objectives.” ISPA was founded in 1948 and represents 350 members from more than 50 countries around the world. In essence, ISPA seeks to strengthen the performing arts through nurturing, developing and educating both the current and emerging leadership in the arts. ISPA members include presenting organizations, performing arts companies, cultural policy groups, artist competitions, foundations, consultants and artist managers among others.
