The collaboration aims to reinforce presenting circuits in Canada and abroad. It also seeks to strengthen the practices of presenters, agents and touring artists and companies.
“We will make the most of each organization’s strengths and we will add value to both the Biennale CINARS and the CAPACOA Conference,” said Sue Urquhart, Executive Director of CAPACOA. “It will be a win-win-win for artists, for agents and managers, and for presenters.”
“At time when the federal governments is about to reinvest in cultural diplomacy, this partnership is timely. An alignment of efforts and funding will enable Canadian artists to truly shine on the world stage,” added Alain Paré, Vice-President and CEO of CINARS.
