New York, NY, May 10, 2016 – It is with great pride that we share the news that the International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) will receive a $15,000 award from the National Endowment for the Arts (NEA) in support of its New York 2017 ISPA Congress. This grant represents a continuation of support from the NEA after ISPA receiving its first such grant last year.

The support of the NEA reflects the maturity of the organization and indeed the commitment of the leadership of the organization. On behalf the entire membership I would like to thank the NEA for this valuable support.

The NEA is committed to advancing learning, fueling creativity, and celebrating the arts in cities and towns across the United States. Funding these new projects like the one from ISPA represents an investment in both local communities and our nation’s creative vitality,” said NEA Chairman Jane Chu.

ISPA's Chief Executive Officer David Baile commented that “This support from the NEA is a strong acknowledgment of the role ISPA plays in supporting the infrastructure of the performing arts, not only in the United States but internationally.
