Through a new partnership, National Institutes of Health (NIH) continues to expand their Sound Health initiative with the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. This initiative, Spearheaded by the Kennedy Center's Artistic Advisor at Large Renée Fleming, is designed to explore how music can assist patients fighting cancer, autism, and Parkinsons.

The collaboration also includes an exploration on how music, as a form of therapy, can affect the brain functions and create a healthier life style.

Findings will be presented at the event called Sound Health: Music and Mind at the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts on June 2 and 3rd.
