Today, we’re highlighting Dystopian Dream created by composer Nitin Sawhney and choreographers/performers Honji Wang and Sebastien Ramirez from Wang Ramirez Company. Produced by Sadler’s Wells London (UK), you may remember this work in development was presented to delegates at the New York Congress last January. The work focuses on themes of loss, isolation, surrender and continuity through music, dance, animation, film projection, and bungee areal work!

Nine months later, Dystopian Dream has just premiered at Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg on September 29! We are delighted to see that the co-producers are Company Wang Ramirez, Clash66, Les Théâtres de la Ville de Luxembourg, Théâtre de la Ville-Paris, Théâtre de l’Archipel, scène nationale de Perpignan, and longstanding ISPA member Stanford Live! You may check out their rehearsal video below.

With a proven track record for success, ISPA's Pitch New Works program continues to assist works in development with securing touring dates, regional agents, co-commissions, premieres, and more.
