Sarah Frankland
Sarah Frankland is Deputy Director for the British Council USA since 2007. Sarah leads on local, national and international strategic relationships with major arts organizations, government and other key stakeholders in the public and private sectors to develop the profile, reputation and brand of UK artists and the British Council. Prior to joining the British Council in 1999 Sarah was responsible for foundation, corporate and government grants for the Shakespeare Theatre and worked in Company Management at Ford's Theatre, both in Washington, DC.
Sarah has a MA in Arts Management from American University in Washington, DC, a postgraduate certificate from the Chartered Institute of Marketing and is an Associate of the London College of Music in Speech and Drama. She is a recipient of scholarships to study in the US from the Rotary Foundation, the American University (Hall of Nations Scholar) and the International Society of Performing Arts; she also serves as a Trustee for the International Student House in Washington, DC.
