Overview
We operate in a Global Community, and exposure to "other" communities is not only inevitable, but an integral driving force. Our natural curiosity is matched by our desire to share our experiences. The ancient African aphorism known as "UBUNTU" embodies the belief that we are who we are through the "otherness" of others.

At this conference we identified and explored some "other communities" we as arts professionals deal with - or should deal with. Leading professionals, joined by ISPA delegates engaged in interactive discussion around the Arts and Healing; the Arts and the new generation of techno-kids; the Arts in Brazil and India, and the role of a Superpower in the Arts today.

In addition to stimulating and interactive debate, delegates were be able to:

  • exhibit to business prospects;
  • view a curated collection of new works;
  • visit an exciting new arts venue in NYC;
  • enjoy many social functions (and less speeches!);
  • meet new members and network with peers;
  • attend the Arts Presenters Conference right after our Congress.

Our Congress hotel was the Essex House on Central park South.
