An annual call for nominations is disseminated following the International ISPA Congress in June. Nominations from the ISPA membership, board and committee members are solicited. For the Distinguished Artist Award, a nomination may also be received from the Congress Planning Committee.
Nominations are reviewed by ISPA's Nominating Committee. The Nominating Committee is tasked with recommending a slate of nominees to the Board for approval. All nominations will be considered that meet the eligibility criteria.
Diversity is essential to ISPA's success as a global leader and we welcome nominations that reflect equity and inclusion, including diverse indigenous, cultural, linguistic and regional communities, as well as those people with disabilities.
Awardees must be present to accept their award. In extenuating circumstances where their presence is not possible, an appropriate individual may represent the winner and accept on their behalf.
