Armando de la Torre
Director, Tridha Colombia Developing
Architect. My professional practice has focused in the last fifteen years, in cultural management and executive production of projects and events of medium and large format.
Creator of BOG brand, dedicated to the development and design of objects and citizen education campaigns, through the company Ideas de Ciudad.
Director of Tridha Colombia developing, in association with Tridha Arts Association in Toronto, Canada, cultural projects and artistic and cultural exchanges.
I have worked with the Municipality of Bogotá, as Director of Events and Scenarios of the Institute of Culture and Tourism, as consultant in the Direction of Arts of the Ministry of Culture, and as an independent consultant for various organizations working on the area of art and culture.
I have participated in the coordination and implementation of events such as Rock, Ópera, Ballet and Hip Hop al Parque, the National Salon of Artists, the National Film Awards, a National Tour called ¨Rock of my Town¨ of music artist Carlos Vives, the Latin American Meeting of Writers and Celebrating the New Millennium in Bogota.
I have also coordinated activities on the Bicentennial of Independence, Culture in Hostels and, more recently, I have developed publishing projects such as Bogotá MMX 200 years later, Afro-Colombian Literature Library, Basic Library of Indigenous Peoples of Colombia and Colombian Traditional Cuisines Library.
Professor at Universidad EAN in the School of Business Administration, currently teaching the course Design and Management of Cultural Events.
