Meet ISPA's 2015 Global Fellowship Program participant Dóra Juhász!
General Manager, Compagnie Pal Frenak
Dóra Juhász is currently the general manager of the renowned, Paris-Budapest based, French-Hungarian contemporary dance company Compagnie Pal Frenak.
She started her professional carrier as a contemporary dance and theatre critic, she was awarded to the Viktor Fülöp Award and Scholarship for Dance Theoreticians two times and won the National Cultural Fund’s Research Grant. She is the member of the Hungarian Theatre Critics’ Association and co-author of the book entitled Engaging the young audience in the field of contemporary performing arts, published in 2013.
Before joining Compagnie Pal Frenak, she worked for the most important contemporary art institution in Hungary, the internationally acknowledged Trafó House of Contemporary Arts, being responsible for the audience engagement department and press and communication of the institution.
Dóra Juhász regularly gives lectures and invited to take part in conferences, juries in Hungary and abroad. She is teaching cultural management and communication at Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design Budapest and WERK Academy. In 2013 she was an awarded fellow of deVos Institute’s International Arts Management Fellowship Program of Kennedy Centre for Performing Arts, Washington, USA.
