Founding Director, AGORA for Arts and Culture
Head of Performing Arts Programming Unit at the Library of Alexandria. Founding director of AGORA for arts and culture; a cultural institution based in Alexandria serving several cities in Egypt. Studied arts management at the DeVos Institute of Arts Management in Washington DC. A Chevening scholar, and a Clore Leadership fellow.
Winner of the Pioneers of Egypt award of 2013 – 2014, and winner of the "Social innovation for employment award" from Nahdet Elmahrousa and Barkley's Bank in 2014. Winner of the Euro-med award from the Anna Lindh Foundation.
Member in the U40 Global Network of the UNESCO, and co-founder of the U40 Arabesque network for the Arab region. Member in the Cultural Innovators network of Goethe Institute.
Has many international publications and participated in various international events and conferences.
