Meet ISPA's 2016 Australian Fellowship Program participant Simeon Moran!
Executive Producer, ILBIJERRI Theatre Company
Simeon is Executive Producer of ILBIJERRI Theatre Company, Australia’s leading and longest running Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander theatre company. ILBIJERRI makes inspiring and bold Australian theatre that gives voice to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, telling our stories of what it means to be Indigenous in Australia today.
Simeon is an experienced creative producer and arts manager, who comes to ILBIJERRI after 5 years as Executive Producer of Snuff Puppets, where he oversaw the expansion of this globally renowned company and its highly successful international program. Having previously worked as a producer for the Melbourne Fringe Festival, Simeon co-founded the Digital Fringe Festival, as well as the Melbourne based arts space and digital arts production house Horse Bazaar.
Simeon has an undergraduate honours degree in anthropology and an unfinished PhD in social theory.
