Meet ISPA's 2016 English Fellowship Program participant Ben Ryan!
Over a 17-year career Ben Ryan has carried out work that bridges the cultural and economic gap between commercial media, the arts and minority communities. He has designed a range of projects that develop awareness of traditional minority group performance, merging social responsibility with arts and entertainment.
He has worked as a project manager or in partnership, both nationally and internationally with several Arts Council England national portfolio organisations including Serious, British Underground, Punch and Continental Drifts. Ben has also delivered projects for NHS, Mayor Of London, several London boroughs, Olympics 2012, Adidas, BT, BBC, Channel 4 and Live Nation. He spent 6 years working in the corporate music industry at Sarm UK and then EMI/Virgin Records. He has extensive experience of fund raising through public funding, commercial clients or VCT.
He is an advisor on the Performing Rights Society Momentum Music Fund.
