GLOBAL ENGAGEMENT PROGRAM: CONGRESS ATTENDANCE FELLOWSHIPS The International Society for the Performing Arts (ISPA) is a not-for-profit international organization (founded 1949) of over 400 executives and directors of concert and performance halls, festivals, performing companies, and artist competitions; government cultural officials; artists' managers; and other interested parties with a professional involvement in the performing arts from more than 60 countries in every region of the world, and in every arts discipline. The purpose of ISPA is to develop, nurture, energize and educate an international network of arts leaders and professionals who are dedicated to advancing the field of the performing arts. As an organization, ISPA's constant goal is to provide the best possible support, information and opportunities for collegial exchange to our members throughout the world. For more information see the ISPA web site at http://www.ispa.org/. The ISPA Global Engagement Program will select and help to support through Fellowships attendance at ISPA Congresses by experienced performing arts professionals from regions of the world that ISPA has identified of particular interest. Support will cover the Congress registration and a portion of travel and accommodation expenses. It is expected that applicants and/or their affiliated organizations will arrange for the balance of the necessary financial support. Though not a requirement, it is hoped that applicants will be accepted into ISPA and attend future Congresses. CRITERIA
