Arts & Lectures, the major presenting program of the University of California, Santa Barbara, seeks a Senior Director of Development.  With more than 200 events a year, Arts & Lectures is the largest presenting organization between Los Angeles and Francisco. The Senior Director of Development designs and implements a comprehensive fundraising plan to identify, cultivate, solicit, close, and provide excellent stewardship of gifts from individuals, corporations, and foundations.  The position requires a successful track record for raising more than $1 million annually and experience with annual giving, major gifts, sponsorships, planned giving and endowment fundraising.  Experience working with a performing arts organization is preferred; the ability to speak and write persuasively about the arts is required   Arts & Lectures offers competitive compensation with excellent benefits.
