We are looking for an experienced and dynamic individual to lead the strategic business development of the company through an exciting period of growth. This is a new senior management position.

t and CEO will be a source of visionary leadership, ensuring that the needs of the theatre’s various constituents— board, staff, patrons, visitors, students, renters and community members—are met. The President and CEO will strive to leverage the assets of the facility, its tradition, ideal location and wide-spread community support.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of senior leadership experience in a performing arts center or related institution. This individual should bring innovative ideas, positive energy and a collaborative style. In addition, the individual, as the public representative of the theater, will have the demeanor and presentation skills to engage major donors, star entertainers, community leaders and the local and regional arts community. Ideal candidates will have had positions such as Executive Director, President, Chief Operating Officer or Chief Development officer at a performing arts organizations or a venue similar to the CBT. Knowledge of or experience in the New Jersey and/or New York City community and cultural institutions is preferred but not required.
