Maria Rita Arnaut (Lisbon, Portugal) is a returning ISPA Fellow and the Project Manager at SPARK Arts Consulting. At SPARK, Rita is responsible for Audience Development and Fundraising projects for cultural institutions. She also develops programming strategies and projects that merge the Arts with social responsibility. Rita graduated with a college degree in Business and a master’s degree in Marketing, focused on non-profit organizations. Her cutting edge concepts have been crucial in the development of the arts scenarios in Portugal. |
Vanini Belarmino (Berlin, Germany/Singapore) is a returning ISPA Fellow, producer, curator and cultural journalist. She is the Managing Director of Belarmino & Partners, a company set-up in Berlin, Germany in March 2008 and Singapore in April 2011 that aims to realize cross-border and interdisciplinary collaborations. Vanini received academic training in theatre arts, art history, European cultural policy and management. She also works as a consultant for public programming at the Marina Bay Sands ArtScience Museum and an arts management lecturer at the LASALLE College of the Arts. |
Csilla Biro (Budapest, Hungary) is a returning ISPA Fellow. Csilla was a classical musician whose career was terminated due to an acute form of arthritis. She then studied business in Los Angeles, CA and Budapest, Hungary, after which she spent several years as Sponsorship Manager at the prestigious Budapest Festival Orchestra. Csilla’s dream is to help young exceptionally gifted musicians achieve international fame and for this reason established her own business, Starlet Music Management, the first and only business of its kind in Hungary to date. Csilla has a MA degree in Piano Performance and Teaching from the Liszt Academy and an MBA degree. |

Patricia S. Ceschi (São Carlos, SP, Brazil) directs the production office Aymberê Produções Artísticas Ltda. Aymberê focuses on delivering high quality arts production services; developing the creative economy in the São Paulo countryside, and nurturing and developing new producers in the region. Production highlights include: a São Paulo staging of Susurrus, written and directed by Scottish playwright David Leddy, and a São Paulo tour of Corpo Vivo – Carrossel das Espécies, a dance/theatre show directed by Ivaldo Bertazzo. Prior roles include Assistant Project Manager at the British Council's arts department, Special Projects and Partnerships Manager at Centro Cultural, and a freelance International Arts Producer.

Chum Chanveasna (Phnom Penh, Cambodia) is Company Manager for the Khmer Arts Ensemble, Cambodia’s largest and most accomplished independent classical dance company. In 2012 she will serve as festival manager for the inaugural Khmer Arts Festival in Phnom Penh. She has participated in the Asia Europe Foundation’s Atelier for Young Festival Managers and was an International Arts Management Fellow at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. Prior to joining the Khmer Arts Ensemble, she was an accountant in the high-end handicrafts industry. She holds a bachelor's degree in finance from Phnom Penh’s National University of Management. |
Flavio de Abreu (São Paulo, SP, Brazil) is a returning ISPA Fellow. Flavio traveled extensively from 2000 to 2005, carrying out market studies in more than 25 countries in Europe, Africa and the Middle East. Realizing the potential for Brazilian music and culture abroad, Flavio went back to his home country and founded Scubidu Prods./Scubidu Records, a company focused on good music, young talents, and collaborative thinking to bring Brazilian music to a global audience. |
Dannii Evans (London, England, UK) is a returning ISPA Fellow. Dannii is the Founder and Producer of the independent arts movement OneTaste in London, started in 2004. OneTaste is a music and spoken word collective that supports the best emerging artistic talent in the UK through events, tours, collaborations, recordings, and project development. OneTaste is funded by the Arts Council England and the Performing Rights Society. |
John Harte (London, England, UK) is the General Manager of Aurora Orchestra, one of the UK’s leading chamber orchestras. Aurora combines outstanding performance with innovative and eclectic programming, a commitment to adventurous collaboration across art forms and musical genres, and a focus on younger audiences. The orchestra recently became the youngest-ever recipient of the Royal Philharmonic Society’s Ensemble Award. John attended Clare College, Cambridge, where he sang as a choral scholar. He holds a PhD in Middle Eastern history, and has curated three music festivals in the Palestinian Territories. Since 2004 he has co-directed the Choir of London. |
Kateřina Koutná (Prague, Czech Republic) is a returning ISPA Fellow. Kateřina began her music management career with a position in a service organization of the Office of the President of the Czech Republic in 2004, then worked at the Prague Spring Festival among other organizations. After one year at the Holland Festival in Amsterdam, she recently came back to Czech Republic and now works for the Collegium 1704 Prague Baroque Orchestra & Vocal Ensemble.

Leelo Lehtla (Tallinn, Estonia) grew up in Tallinn, Helsinki and London. She studied at Haberdashers' Aske's and the Tallinn Secondary Science School, and earned her BA in Social Sciences/Government Administration from Tallinn University. With Pille Lill, one of Estonia’s most well-known opera singers for a mother, classical music has always been a part of her life. Leelo became the Managing Director of PLMF - a foundation to support talented professional musicians in 2003. Leelo is a member of the Board of the Estonian Music Festivals Association, and a consultant for Camerata Nordica. |
Anna Lewanowicz (Kraków, Poland) is the Director of the International Theater Festival Reminiscences. Previous roles include: Co-founder and Managing Director of Brave Festival - Against Cultural Exile in Wroclaw; Producer of the International Theater Festival The World as a Place of Truth; member of the programming group of the IETM Plenary Meeting in Krakow 2011 (International Network for Contemporary Performing Arts); Founder and Chairman of Art and Social Change Foundation ‘Plan C’; and member of the Polish grass-roots movement - Citizens of Culture. |
Ukhona Mlandu (Cape Town, South Africa) is the Manager of the Resource Centre at Artscape Theatre. She has worked as an as an actress and Company Manager at Siyasanga Cape Town Theatre Company, and as the Western Cape Regional Coordinator of the Performing Arts Network of South Africa (PANSA). Mlandu is an experienced facilitator for Artscape, PANSA, and the Arterial Network (an African-wide body whose interest is African cultural industries). She has served on the Board of PANSA, fth:k - South Africa’s first Deaf and Hearing Inter-grated Theatre Company, and Ubuntu Teen Film Festival. A scriptwriter, poet, and actress, Mlandu is passionate about developing arts managers.

Steph Walker (Christchurch, New Zealand) is the General Manager of Christchurch Arts Festival. Originally a performer, Steph began producing theatre while studying in Wellington where she produced new works in Wellington and Auckland. Steph has worked with the New Zealand International Arts Festival and BATS Theatre as the Programme Manager and co-General Manager. Steph has a BA from Victoria University of Wellington in Theatre and Media, a graduate Diploma in Commerce, and a MA in Arts Management from the University of Greenwich, London. Steph is a member of Arts Voice, a group formed after the February 2011 earthquake to advocate for the Arts in the Christchurch rebuild. |
Mei Wang (Beijing, China) is one of the most experienced presenters in China. She started in the international trade business, and found her passion in promoting performing arts, introducing outstanding performances from Europe and America to Chinese audiences when the market was young. Mei has also toured Chinese acrobatics and Kung-fu shows overseas. In the past fifteen years, Mei and her team have organized more than 200 events every year in China and abroad. She has devoted herself to encouraging the blending of cultures amongst all nations and individuals. Mei completed her EMBA courses in Peking University in 2011.
