This new program of the International Society for the Performing Arts is intended to facilitate member participation in Globalisation and Identity, ISPA 2010 Zagreb Congress, on June 3-5, 2010 in Zagreb, Croatia. In total there is $15,000 available to fund ISPA member travel. Instrumental to the introduction of this program is the Trust for Mutual Understanding (TMU). The TMU is a United States based foundation that encourages communication, understanding, and collaboration between Russia, Central and Eastern Europe, and the United States through international exchange in the arts and environment. Fully 2/3 of the funding came from the TMU and as such, members may expect that this funding will be reflected in the subsidies awarded. ISPA would like to thank the Trust for Mutual Understanding for their support of this initiative. Who should apply?ISPA members in good standing who have a genuine interest in the Eastern European region and can also demonstrate a capability and interest in maintaining a relationship with artists/presenters/agents in the region. Only one application per ISPA member organization will be accepted and in general, the maximum grant size will not exceed $1,000. Eligible expenses include airfare, accommodation, per diem, insurance, transfers and visa costs. Prospective awardees should meet the following criteria:

Application and Selection ProcessCandidates should complete the application and submit all required material by Friday, April 2, 2010. Applications will be reviewed by a committee comprised of ISPA Committee and Board Members. Candidates will be notified of their application status by Monday, April 19, 2010.
