Leadership and Staff
Sponsorship

ISPA's activities are supported in part by patrons, sponsors and donors, who are acknowledged in appropriate ways throughout the year. Our Development Committee (supported by the head office) drives most of these efforts. As a registered 501 (c) 3 not-for-profit, all donations to the ISPA Foundations qualify as charitable donations as appropriate. The various programs available are:

ISPA PATRON PROGRAM
ISPA's international Board of Directors invites leading figures and organizations in the performing arts to become ISPA Patrons. We also invite ISPA member organizations to become Patrons by soliciting support from among their Board members or local foundations and corporations. Patrons will support ISPA's mission and the Global Capacity Program with annual support of $5,000 USD. In order to ensure an effective growth experience for the beneficiaries of the Global Engagement Program, the minimum period of Patron support is three years.

Patron support will be dedicated to building ISPA's capacity to include artists and arts leaders from developing countries in our biannual Congresses, and to developing ISPA's ability to offer scholarships to cover expenses for Congress attendees.

Patrons will be recognized appropriately for their valuable support:

  • Patrons' names will appear on ISPA letterhead;
  • Patrons will be listed in ISPA's Annual Membership Directory;
  • A special Patron page will be created on ISPA's website;
  • Patrons' names will be listed in each Congress program;
  • Patrons will be invited to, and recognized at, ISPA's Annual Awards ceremony;
  • Non-member Patrons will receive honorary ISPA membership status;
  • Patrons will receive regular reports of the activities of the beneficiaries.

Current Patrons are recognized at this link.

ISPA SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
Sponsorships are sought for three areas:

  • Organizational sponsorships
  • Congress sponsorships
  • Congress Element sponsorships
  1. Organizational Sponsorship
    Our main (naming) sponsor would be associated with everything we do during the multi-year sponsor period. This sponsor would find strong synergies between our vision, activities, global profile, and that of their own company. We would be reasonably flexible to accommodate this sponsor's specific needs as per our Sponsor Agreement.
  2. Congress Sponsorships
    The main (naming) Congress Sponsor is an organization with interests in the host city/region, and who will benefit from local exposure and association with our Congress. Appropriate acknowledgement is given in printed materials, and at the event.
    The June Congress Host would source the main Congress sponsor locally, and offer maximum local exposure, while the ISPA Development Committee (supported by the head office) will source a Congress sponsor for the January Congress.
  3. Congress Element Sponsorships
    Designed to cover direct costs (plus some contribution to overheads), local sponsors have an opportunity to get exposure at meeting/sessions directly related to their sponsorship (ie. meals, cocktails etc.). This could be the start for developing larger sponsorships. Appropriate levels of exposure and acknowledgement are offered throughout.
