Meet ISPA's 2017 Sweden Fellowship Program participant Jessica Lindberg Dik!

Jessica Lindberg Dik

Producer/Project Manager, Riksteatern

Jessica Lindberg Dik trained as a classical singer at the Royal Academy of Music in London but after ten years as a freelance opera singer decided to go into Arts Management. She founded and managed her own opera festival outside Stockholm for eight years. Since 2010 Jessica has been employed as a producer/project manager at Riksteatern, The National Touring Theatre of Sweden, where she have worked with a broad selection of productions: from modern dance with the Cullberg Ballet via opera and musicals to comedy in Swedish sign language. Jessica currently holds the position of Acting Head of the International Department as well as the Sign Language Department. Diversity and representation within the performing arts sector are what Jessica sees as the industry’s greatest challenge. Through ISPA I hope to meet others who are devoting their work to these issues around the world and get the chance to exchange exciting experiences and strategies. During 2016/2017 Jessica is on leave from Riksteatern to work for the Church of Sweden as their regional representative based in Jerusalem working with arts and empowerment projects.
