Meet ISPA's 2018 Denmark Fellowship Program participant Lotte Kofod Ludvigsen!

Creative Producer, Teatret Svalegangen

Lotte Kofod Ludvigsen started a new position as Creative Producer at Teatret Svalegangen. Before Teatret Svalegangen, Lotte was an international producer at the dance house Bora Bora in Aarhus, as responsible for international festivals, regional networks and residency programs.

Lotte is specialized in producing big scale events that meet the needs of both artists and audience. Two major projects during her career as producer were the Colina Laboratory with artistic director Rui Horta in 2006 and the Spring Forward festival with artistic director John Ashford (Aerowaves) in 2017. She holds a MA in dramaturgy and journalism from Aarhus University combined with executive certificates in project management and process facilitation. Lotte’s career has given her 10+ years of experience in the field of performing arts in different positions as theatre critic, project manager, development consultant and producer as well as a creative production as a writer.

ISPA: Lotte, what are the three adjectives that describe you? 
My colleagues tell me I’m adventurous, hard-working and generous.
ISPA: What’s your favorite city in the world?
Tokyo (especially during the summer festivals)
ISPA: Can you name one channel that you subscribe to or frequently visit to stay up-to-date with news about the arts and culture in your region? 
Lotte: Proscenium is the no 1 online news site for theatres in Denmark with news on projects, jobs, theatre politics, courses etc.
