Rhinoceros (working title) is an absurdist, serious and funny interactive theatre performance with the audience in a leading role. You’ll become part of a live digital platform, created by the Smartphone Orchestra. Led by your own smartphone, you will experience the hidden algorithmic rituals which are created for us by the big tech companies live. You will be measured and judged on the data trail you leave behind inconsiderately, just like you do on the real digital platforms. Finally, you will be confronted with this digital character, this caricature of you that is formed by big hidden algorithms and your unconscious actions. Rhinoceros is a serious game for theatre about an urgent topic.
