  United Kingdom
In a unique collaboration, Belarus Free Theatre and world-acclaimed journalist and author, Masha Gessen, will create a production based on Gessen’s life and exploring the relationship between personal identity and global politics. BFT’s documentary and devising methods will link Gessen’s extraordinary personal story to wider contemporary issues, with the narrative told through the company’s characteristic muscular physicality. Gessen will perform alongside BFT's ensemble members. A WoMan will be a powerful cry for choice and freedom by people who have learnt the value of both, that calls on the audience to question their own choices and to stand up for what they believe in.
