Teatro del Valle

Theatre director and teacher, who graduated with honors from the Russian Theatre Academy (GITIS). Gonzalez Puche is a professor at the Department of Performing Arts at the Universidad del Valle, a visiting director at the Central Academy of Drama in Beijing and Universidad Católica de Chile, as well as a guest professor of Methodika. Alejandro was awarded the Order of Cultural Merit by the Colombian Ministry of Culture. He holds a Master and PhD from the Universidad de Valencia, Spain. His publications include: Pedro de Urdemalas, la aventura experimental del teatro cervantino, y Campus Escénico. His stagings include Coloquio de los Perros (2013), Égloga de Plácida y Vitoriano (2011), Calima, Historias de Vapor (2011), La Vida es Sueño en Rusia (2008), Pedro de Urdemalas en China (2008), El Tío Ivam (2005), El Condenado por Desconfiado (2004). Gonzalez has directed stagings with the Symphony Orchestra of Colombia and the National Theatre. He currently heads the Univalle Scenic Laboratory alongside Master Ma Zhenghong.
