Past Congresses

Twice a year, ISPA Congresses bring together performing arts leaders to discover the next great idea, strengthen relationships, and rejuvenate their passion for the arts.

Why Arts Leaders Come to ISPA Congresses:

1. Exchange and Develop Ideas

Explore the congress theme over the course of several engaging panel discussions, debates, roundtable conversations, and more led by a range of industry leaders and experts. The regional updates examine the changing environments of various global regions and how you might be affected. You will have the opportunity to join the conversations live or afterwards during the numerous networking opportunities. And you might discover your next great idea!

2. Strengthen and Nurture Relationships

Join the entire delegation for Professional Exchange (ProEx) marketplace where attendees have an opportunity to learn about each other’s work. ProEx is just one of many opportunities in addition to coffee breaks, the receptions, and other social events during the congress.

3. Commission and Present New Works

Learn about new performing arts projects from the creators themselves! In addition to programmed performances throughout the congress, Pitch New Works highlights a curated set of projects and works in process from across the globe. Become an industry leader by being involved with these artistic ventures still in development or recently premiered. Support the new works through commission or presentation before they enter the international marketplace.
