|Fellowship Participant - Nadine Asswad|
Rethinking art theory and creation, developing new ways of considering the living arts, have always been at the core of Nadine Asswad’s interests. Nadine received a M.F.A. in Film Studies from Concordia University in Montreal, Québec, Canada. Her thesis was about the intersection of the movement in dance, cinema and philosophy. Following her studies in Literature and Cinema, Nadine started working in the living arts industry in 2009 with theatre company Tout à Trac as Marketing and Development Director. In 2013, she founded her agency: Nadine Asswad Agency, presently active on the Canadian, American, European and Asian markets. She represents and promotes more than 10 unique and internationally acclaimed theatre and dance companies presenting works to general audiences and young audiences alike. From Canada, France or Chile, her artistic roster only present rigorously imaginative yet entertaining performances. The quality of the works she represents and her professional ethic forge strong long-term relationships with her business partners, with whom she shares her passion for high quality entertainment, creation and meaningful arts.
