Hu Yin 's career has been distinguished by her creative leadership, commitment to innovation, and progressive outlook on the role of founding the first independent black box theater in southwest of China. She is the founder and also executive director of YINZI theatre, designing adaptive business and curatorial plans which keep the theatre robust on artistic and fiscal health, promoting YINZI theater to become one of the important independent art institutions in China, and also the most active black box theatre in southwest of China . Appointment of Gu Tao as Arts Director in 2015 , propelling production of crossover and new media , and garnered acclaim for interdisciplinary productions in fields of music, experimental theatre , exhibition. With a mission of enriching local artistic ecology and promoting local art innovation, YINZI invites artists from world to show their works in Chongqing, and also recommends Chinese contemporary performing arts to the world.
