Meet ISPA's 2016 Global Fellowship Program participant Ruchira Das!

As an arts manager, for over 15 years, Ruchira has worked with several organisations across India and been involved with organising classical music and dance programmes for young audiences, programming for a dance-theatre group, and managing a performing arts festival.
She was a participant at the Atelier for Young Festival Managers organised by EFA at Edinburgh in April 2014 and is currently a Fellow at ARThink South Asia which will take her to Helios Theatre, Germany for her secondment.
Her belief that an engagement with the arts is essential for a child to grow to be sensitive, imaginative, and creative and experience their world in a fuller manner, led to the genesis of Think Arts. In the last two years, alongwith several artists, Think Arts has created sensorial exhibitions for children, presented workshops & performances and curated several events that have innovatively engaged young audiences.
