Meet ISPA's 2016 Global Fellowship Program participant E-Jan Tan!
Founder/Creative Producer, Toccata Studio
E-Jan Tan is a creative producer based in Kuala Lumpur. Co-founder of Toccata Studio, an artists collective and creative development lab, E-Jan focuses on producing multidisciplinary performances. E-Jan’s productions are boundary-pushing and she is an unstoppable force in the vibrant arts scene of Malaysia: in 2014 she produce RE-RevoEvo in London, U.K. and attended Asia Producers’ Platform in Korea. Early 2015, she was invited by Ministry of Culture France, to represent Malaysia in cultural seminar held two weeks in Paris and Nantes. She was invited to International Theatre Festival for Young Audience in Okinawa, Japan in July 2015. She received invitation to IETM in Gwangju and Seoul in Korea (Sept 2015). She focuses on international collaborations in the aim to elevate the level of awareness and appreciation in performing arts.

I follow various production companies on Facebook.
Is there anything else that you would like our ISPA family to know about you or your work?
I co-founded Toccata Studio, an artists collective as well as creative development lab. Toccata studio has created and developed a series of diverse performances centering on arts as positive, future shaping force. Our featured works include: Mobile Phone Orchestra, Space Age, Intertwined, and most recent creation, 2020 (a five year project).
