Annette Shun Wah is a producer, actor, writer and broadcaster. Since 2012 she has been Executive Producer of Performance 4a, a leading producer of contemporary Asian Australian performance. She devised the original concept for the 2014 Sydney Festival hit The Serpent’s Table. She also produced the multi-artform work Yasukichi Murakami – Through A Distant Lens (Darwin Festival 2014; Shinju Matsuri Festival Broome; OzAsia Festival; Griffin Theatre; Riverside Theatres), the theatrical storytelling show Stories Then & Now, which she co-directed with William Yang (Carriageworks 2013) and the music and storytelling show In Between Two for Sydney Festival 2016 on which she and William Yang were co-dramaturges. In 2015 Annette was appointed to the Directorate of the National Theatre of Parramatta, a new resident company at Riverside Theatres producing contemporary works. She is also a member of the Asian Producers Platform.
