Membership Cycle
The ISPA Membership is renewed annually and follows the calendar year beginning January 1st and expiring on December 31st. New members may join the membership for the following calendar year as early as September 1st, receiving
up to 16 months of membership for the cost of just 12!
Membership dues are not prorated.

Other Memberships
DUES: $50 USD
Student Membership is an individual membership offered to full-time students who can show proof of enrollment. Student member applications must pass a review before final processing. Apply for a Student Membership
DUES: $325 USD
This membership is designed for arts professionals who have retired but still wish to be engaged with their peer community. Those seeking this membership status must meet the following criteria:
- Have retired and are no longer employed by an organization that is or could be an Organization Member
- Are not working as a “consultant” in a significant capacity
- Have been an ISPA member for at least 5 consecutive years prior to retirement

DUES: $325 USD
ISPA offers a transitional membership rate of 325 USD for Fellows who have fulfilled the terms of their fellowships. This reduced-rate membership is available for up to two years immediately following the completion of the fellowship program. Refund Policy
Please note that a refund processing fee may apply if your membership application is not approved and a refund is requested.
Congresses
- Primary Account holders of a new member organization receive 275 USD off the full pass rate of their first in-person congress.*
- Members and employees of member organizations receive discounted registration rates for all ISPA congresses.*
- Access to the Congress Video Gallery, a complete collection of congress recordings is available for the use of our members.

Members-Only Programming
- Sign-up to attend the Community Building Program at the New York congress where you’ll be paired with a current member to introduce you to the ISPA
community.
- Log onto (and access previous recordings of) our members-only periodic video call, ISPAconvenes, a place for members to socially connect, discuss
timely topics, and further their network.
- Schedule a one-on-one consultation through Genius Bar. Members sign-up to discuss a topic they are grappling with and are introduced to another
member who has relevant expertise for a one-on-one 30 minute consultation.
ISPA Governance
- Only ISPA members may serve on the various committees and are encouraged to put their names forward for committee participation.
- Primary Account holders may vote at ISPA’s Annual General Meeting on decisions affecting the governance and strategic direction of ISPA and all its affairs and programs.
- Only ISPA members are eligible to nominate candidates for both the Board of Directors and ISPA Awards.
Complimentary E-Publications
- Receive a complimentary subscription to Network, ISPA’s members-only monthly e-newsletter featuring regional and global updates, industry job openings, and more.
- Receive a complimentary subscription to ISPA’s programming newsletter, ISPA in Action, featuring member news, ISPA news, and upcoming events.
- Receive a complimentary subscription to Insider, a quarterly newsletter featuring member interviews on timely topics in the global performing arts
community.
Discounts
- Members first Pitch New Works application fee is waived.
- Receive a 10% discount on all advertising opportunities.
- Refer a friend of yours to ISPA and if they become a member, receive 10% off your membership or congress registration. The organization must not have been an ISPA member in the past 5 years.
- Organization members receive 3 complimentary job postings per year and digital members receive 1 complimentary posting per year in ISPA’s Career Center.

Star Member Benefits
In addition to the benefits above, Star Organization Members receive:
- New Star Members receive the 275 USD new member discount on a full pass for both Primary AND Affiliate Account holders to their first in-person congress
- Increased profile with public acknowledgment of your Star Member status on the ISPA website, monthly emails, in congress program books, and on your congress badge
- Preferential placement at the New York Congress ProEx event - Star Members will be allowed to choose their table placement prior to the day of ProEx
- Fixed membership dues for three years (avoiding increases during that time period)
- A 15% discount on other ISPA advertising opportunities
