Litmus Jazz Ensemble was formed in 2020 as a sandbox project for original jazz compositions, and has since become a standout group in Singapore’s modern jazz scene.

Fusing jazz, funk, and neo-soul with an infectious live energy, the band burst into the scene in 2021 with “The Litmus Sessions” music video series. Since then, they’ve lit up festivals such as Gastrobeats 2022 (SG), Singapore Night Festival 2023 (SG), and JZ Festival 2025 (CN), and toured Hong Kong, Seoul, and Shanghai in 2025.

Now, the band is hard at work on a new album and gearing up to share their music both locally and globally.
