Gua Khee Chong

Gua Khee Chong

Director and Dramaturg
Finland | Singapore

Chong Gua Khee is a director and dramaturg based across Singapore and Helsinki/Finland. She is endlessly curious about so many things, but especially about how your everyday experiences are shaped by societal factors - and how you in turn shape the world around you!

Gua Khee is part of CITRUS practices, which stands for Care, Intimacy, TRaUma-informed and Safer practices in the arts. A ground-up collective of arts workers, CITRUS supports other arts workers in Singapore to build capacities and networks around care practices in the arts. Gua Khee is Festival Curator of the upcoming CITRUS fest: kacang puteh, ‘care’-oke?, a festival about care practices in the arts that will unfold from 21-30 August.

Other recent projects include directing intercultural music theatre Tea/Time & Love (2026), musical documentary From me to you: How shall we eat v1.0 (2026), and new chamber opera Piggy Sparkle (2025).
