A/Prof Wee Hoe Gan

A/Prof Gan Wee Hoe is CEO of SingHealth Community Hospitals (SCH) and concurrently, Pro Tem CEO of the future Eastern General Hospital. He also practises Occupational Medicine at the Singapore General Hospital.

As CEO SCH, he and his team spearheaded Social Prescribing as a model of care in Singapore, which led SCH to be recognised as a World Health Organization Collaborating Centre for Social Prescribing, the first of its kind in the world.

Additionally, A/Prof Gan serves on the MOH CareShield Life Council, as well as the Boards of Vanguard Healthcare Pte Ltd and Allkin Singapore Ltd. He is also a second-term President of the College of Public Health and Occupational Physicians, Academy of Medicine, Singapore.
